Smart Blend Synthetic Automatic
Transmission Fluid M-V Supplement is a uniquely blended
synthetic product specifically formulated to convert and
enhance Dexron III® /Mercon® fluid (1oz. per quart)
into a Mercon V ®type fluid, eliminating the need to
stock Mercon V ®. Smart Blend Synthetic Automatic
Transmission Fluid M-V Supplement extends the frictional
stability of the fluid, preventing torque converter
lock-up shudder and extends fluid life, saving time and
money.
- Converts Dexron III® /Mercon® Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) into a Mercon V®
Type Fluid.
- Saves Time & Money, Eliminates the Need to Stock Mercon V® Fluid.

Mercon V® was introduced by the
Ford Motor Company in 1997 for use in 1997 and later
A4LD-E (4R44E) and 5R55E transmissions. Mercon V is also
required for 1998 vehicles with AX4N and AX4S
transaxles, plus the AODE-W (4R70W) transmission.
Note: Mercon V® fluid can be used
were Mercon® is recommended, but Mercon cannot be used
to replace Mercon V fluid.
